Cranley
Hotel Description:
Situated in a quiet
street in the heart of The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, The
Cranley hotel is one of London’s most charming Town House Hotels. An ideal
city centre haven appealing equally to the discerning business or
leisure traveller, The hotel brings together the best of established
tradition and service, and the advantages of the most up to date
technology expected from a top class hotel of the 21st Century.
Furnished with wonderful antiques, it has an understated elegance and
air of sophistication. The colours used throughout the bedrooms and
reception areas - striking combinations of Chinese blue, mustard, plum
and stone - are derived from the original 19th Century floor tiles which
you will see in the entrance hall.
The hotel has been granted a four star townhouse silver award by the
English Tourism Council, in April 2001. Look than on The Cranley as your
home away from home.
Hotel's friendly and intelligent staff will attend to your every need,
and with no request either too large or too small you will want for
nothing during your stay. A warm welcome awaits you, whether it is your
first visit or you are one of many regular guests.
Restaurant:
You can start the day with the
copious Continental breakfast including freshly squeezed orange juice
and coffee ground on the premises. After your day out you can come back
to a Complimentary English afternoon tea of warm scones with clotted
cream whilst in the evening you can help yourself to an aperitif and
some canapes. Alternatively you can order a light luncheon or supper
from the hotel's imaginative room service menu throughout the day and
evening.
Bedrooms:
A number of rooms boast
elegant King-size four poster beds, whilst the majority are furnished
with equally dramatic half-tester canopied beds. The rooms are dispensed
with Victorian house-hair mattresses. Curtains and bed hangings are
natural linen whilst the headboard and valances are hand embroidered;
the beds are dressed with cotton sheets, large square feather pillows
and traditional pure woollen blankets.
Every room has an antique desk or writing table with conveniently placed
power and telecommunication sockets, most rooms also have a separate
table enabling you to enjoy room service without disturbing your work.
The bathrooms have traditional Victorian style fittings combined with a
lavish use of warm limestone. With every room having air-conditioning
you will enjoy the peace and quiet comfort of The Cranley.
Local Attractions:
The Cranley hotel is ideally
situated to enjoy London's great attractions, many of which are within
walking distance including the Museums of Exhibition Road and the
immense variety of shops and shops in Knightsbridge and the Kings Road
from the most exclusive to the trendy and avant garde. Kensington
