The famous Melia White House London hotel has completed a major £30 Million refurbishment program and was re-launched in Spring 2002 as one of London's leading 4 star deluxe hotels, it has an impressive marble lobby with a contemporary black granite reception desk. This hotel's 581 guestrooms mix classical and contemporary elements, with Doric column lamps, black and gilt-coloured moulding, and brass bedside reading lights wall-mounted on fluted wood.
