Russell Hotel Description:
Hotel Russell is a
deluxe hotel located opposite Russell Square, in the historical
Bloomsbury section of London. The hotel was formerly called as the Le
Meridien hotel Russell Square. This strikingly attractive hotel has a
wonderful, central location. In fact, it is only a short walk from the
British Museum and many other attractions. Built in 1898, this hotel is
a great example of the Victorian style, which is apparent on the
interior as well as from the outside. This wonderful Hotel occupies a
typical Victorian building featuring all the comforts of a luxury hotel.
The Hotel has been partially refurbished whilst retaining its original
character with a sweeping, marble staircase, traditional wooden
panelling and crystal chandeliers.
Ideally located within the historic area of Bloomsbury, the Hotel
has an
unexpected view over Russell Square gardens and is situated close to the
main attractions of London and the Russell Square subway station.

Russell features 358 guestrooms with Economy Budget, Deluxe or
Ambassador rooms. These include one double, one king (most Ambassador
rooms) or two single beds; each room can accommodate two guests.
The decor in the standard rooms is
both attractive and traditional. All of the guest rooms have en-suite
bathroom facilities and they are clean and comfortable. The rooms all
come equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, satellite TV, Play
station, and pay-per-view movies.

Doll's Restaurant - the
chefs have taken the best and most authentic elements of modern European
cuisine and assembled them together in one menu, with a choice of a set
menu or A la Carte. They also offer an excellent selection of first
class wines from renowned European and New World growers. Dress Code:
Smart. Opening times: Breakfast 7am - 10am and Dinner 5.30pm - 10pm
The Virginia Woolf's Brasserie - is open
all day serving grills, burgers, pastas and salads. Perfect for a
pre-theatre meal, it is also popular with families and those looking for
a more relaxed atmosphere. Dress code: Casual. Opening times: 11.30am -
11.30pm Monday-Sunday (Last Orders 10:30pm)
Bar:
The Benjamin's Bar
- is a perfect place for pre and post dinner drinks in a relaxed
atmosphere. All major sporting events are shown live, and there is a
great selection of draft beer. Dress code is casual. Opening times: 11am
- 11pm.
The Kings Bar - creates a haven of peace
and comfort in a beautifully restored Victorian setting. Clients can
enjoy everything from Traditional Afternoon Tea, light snacks and
sandwiches to early evening cocktails. Dress code: Smart. Opening times:
10am - 1am
