The Henry VIII Hotel London is located just a short walk from Hyde Park which is actually at the end of Leinster Gardens. Converted from a row of Victorian houses its situated in Bayswater, a very popular area for budget class hotels. Close by is a large shopping area at Queensway which includes a covered centre called Whitley's, this merges with the famous Notting Hill area which in turn merges with Kensington. All these areas are full of popular shops, bars and cafes. To the other direct (East) is Marble Arch, home to Speakers Corner which is a free-for-all debating platform on Sunday Mornings. This also marks the start of both Oxford Street and Edgware Road. Oxford Street is one of the most popular shopping streets for tourists while Edgware Road is home to many middle eastern bars and restaurants. Nearest attractions include Kensington Palace (former home of Diana Princess of Wales), Albert Memorial, Portobello Road Antiques Market, London Toy and Model Museum and the Serpentine Gallery.
