The Darlington Hyde Park is located on Sussex Gardens in the Paddington Hyde Park area of London, less than a 5-minute walk from the Heathrow Express terminal at Paddington station. This 40-bedroom former stately Victorian terraced town house conversion offers high standard accommodation with modern facilities, which ensure that the expectations of both business and leisure travellers alike are fully met. The Hotel offers a full range of facilities for the discerning guest. All of the single, double and twin rooms as well as suites are finished and equipped to the highest standards of comfort and cleanliness. The comfort and safety of all guests is of paramount importance to every member of staff. The hotel has been awarded RAC Sparkling Diamond Award, for excellent standards of cleanliness, hygiene and attention to detail, throughout all areas of the property.
Entry to the hotel can only be done, by ringing the doorbell or using the key card issued, after check in. Also the rest of the hotel can only be accessed via the reception or main entrance and hallway by using the key card. To make your stay more secure the key cards issued have no detail on them so that if lost nobody can know which hotel or room that it opens. The key cards issued are time-related so that they cannot be used after checkout.
All of the bedrooms have double locked doors and every of them has an in-room safe for keeping personal valuables. There is a number of discreet CCTV security cameras positioned throughout all entrances and exits to the hotel, allowing management and staff to monitor 24 hours per day, all visitors entering and exiting the hotel. Non-residents are only allowed to access the hotel facilities by pre-arrangement with any of the guests and staff.
The hotel is completely Non-Smoking.
Restaurant & Bar:
There is no bar or dining facilities available at the hotel; however, guests can enjoy a selection of alcohol and soft drinks, which are available on request at the 24-hour staffed reception. In addition the reception staff will be only too delighted to advise and recommend a number of restaurants and Bars that are only a few minutes walk away from the hotel. Alternatively, Room Service Meals can be ordered and delivered to the hotel, to enable guests to have a meal in their rooms.

- Hyde Park (less than 1km) - Largest Park in London, leading through to Kensington Gardens and Kensington Palace. Site of the Albert Memorial and opposite the Royal Albert Hall.
- Oxford Street (1 km) - Famous London Shopping area leading on to Bond Street and Regent Street and then a short walk away from Covent Garden.
- Buckingham Palace (2 km) - Short walk through Hyde Park to see the changing of the Guards at Buckingham Palace, The Royal Residence. A short bus ride takes you to The Tower of London.

If you fail to cancel prior to this time the property reserve the right to charge for 1 Night(s) accommodation.
All cancellations and amendments must be made directly with DiscountCityHotels.com to receive a confirmation of cancellation/amendment.
All late cancellations will be subject to a late cancellation fee as per the cancellation policy.

Any request to cancel/amend a reservation cannot be considered complete until you receive our cancellation/amendment confirmation. Until you do your booking will still be considered valid/unchanged so please ensure you contact us if you do not receive a confirmation of your cancellation/amendment within 1 hour of your initial request if made during normal business working hours, or within 1 hour of our opening times if your initial request is made overnight or at weekends. Please note that cancellation/amendment requests sent by fax and email outside our office working hours will be considered as received on the next working day. When a reservation is made after the cancellation deadline, then the reservation will be subject to a late cancellation charge per room cancelled if cancelled at any time, from the moment the booking is made.
