Town House rooms are reminiscent of mid-1800s with, of course, all today's
essential amenities. The executive and standard rooms are spacious and
tastefully decorated. Originally, The Commodore Hotel was built in 1860 - the
height of the Victorian era. Today, its stunning interior reflects this age of
elegance: The Commodore's lounge is sumptuously furnished with exquisite
antiques. Each piece dates back to the Victorian period - a time when style and
comfort were synonymous. It provides the perfect environment in which to relax,
meet with friends and colleagues and enjoying a refreshing drink The restaurant
is open for breakfast and dinner. There are also various restaurants, cafes,

The Restaurant:
When you want to make the most of
your time in London you will appreciate the convenience of the hotel restaurant
50 Lancaster Gate,
is a smart yet unpretentious dining venue offering an eclectic choice of European & Mediterranean cuisine
to suit the most discerning palate, open from 6pm to
10.30 pm Monday to Saturday. Room service is available from 7am to 11pm.Sundays
only a limited choice of menus is available. At
the end of a busy day, whether business or pleasure, unwind in the bar over a
refreshing drink. Also, Located in The
Hotel Is The Red Room Bar, Soak up the
charming, traditional atmosphere of the Commodore's warm and cosy Red Bar,
whilst enjoying your favourite tipple. Open From 6:00 Pm
To 11:00 Pm.
Fitness Studio:
The newly appointed fitness studio
offers state of the art cardiovascular machines and free weights.
Free use of fitness studio is
available to all the guests. A workout in the Commodore's fitness studio will
energise and revitalise you. Include it with a jog around Hyde Park and you will
be ready for anything!
Bedrooms:
At the Commodore, they have a variety
of bedroom styles from which to choose. Each has been specially created to meet
your needs. The deluxe, four poster and executive rooms exhibit high quality
furnishings with modern chic- some have an outdoor terrace where you can take
breakfast on a warm, sunny morning. All the rooms are tastefully decorated and
harmoniously furnished, providing everything you need for a restful stay.
The hotel's Town House rooms are reminiscent of the mid-1800's in decor with of
course all today's essential amenities. For sheer indulgence, choose one of the
Commodore's three suites, which have been individually designed in the grand
Victorian manner and are adorned with beautiful antiques.
The Viceroy Suite, so called because its four poster bed is reputed to have been
owned by the last Viceroy of India.
All 79 bedrooms have been
newly furnished and equipped to first-class standards. Each room is a quiet
retreat with a private bath or shower, tea and coffee-making facilities,
Satellite
TV, radio, hair dryer, personal digital safe, broad band instant connection in
all the rooms and telephone. Suites provide
added luxury and, for guests who like a distinctive touch, there is a room with
a four-poster bed.
Full stocked mini bar is available in all the rooms. Personal security is ensured by spy holes in most rooms- a
feature which has made The Commodore a popular choice among the increasing
number of women travelling on business. Standard rooms are newly refurbished in
modern style. Executive rooms are refurbished in contemporary style. Non smoking
rooms are available on request.
