Somerset Princes Square Apartments
Description:
In 1999, the movie industry
unleashed ‘Notting Hill’ on an unsuspecting world. Since then, simply utter the
words, and you will evoke notions of romance in a foreign country. But Notting
Hill is much more than that. Overlooking a private leafy square, Somerset
Prince's Square, Notting Hill offers you an exclusive haven within London’s
trendy and culturally diverse district; renowned for its wealth of cosmopolitan
shops, cinemas, bars and restaurants.
In this quiet residential square, within your luxurious residence, you can enjoy
your much-treasured privacy and be near to all the excitement is. Every year,
during the last weekend of August, since 1964 Notting Hill hosts the second
largest carnival in the world, after the Carnival in Rio De Janeiro: parades
with people in colourful costumes, partying in the streets, cultural and musical
performances featuring Calypso music and other international acts are just some
of the fun not to be missed.
Somerset Prince's Square is also close to the well-known Portobello market with
its hidden treasures and collectibles ranging from high-class antiques to
affordable crafts. Another very popular haunt is the Mandarin Kitchen, winner of
the London restaurant awards for Best Chinese Restaurant; savour the excellent
Peking duck and lobster noodles that are only two streets from your residence.
When returning from a hard day’s work, or an enchanting evening at the Royal
Opera House at Covent Garden, take the Central Line to Notting Hill Gate
Underground station. In less than 10 minutes of a slow walk from that station,
you are back at Princes Square, being pampered with luxury and comfort of the
highest order.
